1) Level the surface with a Manège
leveller or grader as required.
(pay particular attention to the track area)
2) Remove horse droppings from the Manège or
surface.
3) Try not to lunge in the same area – use
the whole area available.
4) Move the show jumps on a regular basis.
5) If the surface is surrounded by trees,
remove any leaves that fall onto
the arena as they will, over time,
break down and slow drainage
